These are a few of my favorite things...
Chocolate Brownie Clif Bar
Now I don't know about you, but I LOVE chocolate. Clif Bars? Not so much. I was never a huge Clif Bar fan, but when I saw this bar, I just gravitated towards it. It's basically a healthy brownie. How bad can that be? This energy bar is perfect for emergencies or as a snack for whenever. It's oh so decadent and healthier than the typical brownie; there are about 76 less calories. It doesn't taste healthy or good for you because of the chocolate chunks mixed within it.
This bar is a great alternative for your chocolate cravings. It definitely defines indulgence. I highly recommend this energy bar!

Psych
When I first heard about Psych, I was a bit reluctant to watch it. It didn’t sound that interesting to me. I didn’t understand why the series finale was so important or why everyone was so obsessed with pineapples. A self proclaimed psychic solving cases? Hmm okay. Well that all changed after my friend reintroduced me to Psych. You know who you are.
After watching the pilot episode, I was hooked. The script is amusing let alone the actors. I’ve been watching episodes back to back, that’s how good it is. Round of applause for James Roday and Dulé Hill for making this TV series hilarious!
Timeflies
I was watching a vlog by Marcus Butler on YouTube (Check out his videos!) and in his vlog, he went to a Timeflies concert. I’ve got to say, they were amazing. Hearing them “live” caught my attention.
Originally from Massachusetts, Cal Shapiro and Rob ‘Rez’ Resnick are the two faces behind this magic. The music that they have been creating for the past four years is truly unique and energetic. Their music is basically pop, rap, and electronic combined together. Yes I know that sounds like a weird combination, but trust me, their latest album, After Hours, is worth listening to even if you don’t like any of those genres. There’s a song for everybody. It’s almost like Avicii meets Eminem meets 3OH!3. So if you like any of these singers, then this dynamic duo should be on your summer playlist. Actually, their music is perfect for anytime (See what I did there?). I also want to recommend “Amy” from their latest album ‘cause it’s a good song and you know…it’s also my middle name.

5 Seconds of Summer
Oh 5 Seconds of Summer…I gotta admit I was a bit reluctant to listen to their music. Again, they didn’t sound that interesting to me. As of right now, they are touring with One Direction as the opening act (again!) for 1D’s tour, “Where We Are”. Anyways, my interest started when I accidentally listened to them. I was listening to Billboard’s ‘Top 50 Hits’ and a short clip of “She Looks So Perfect” (a very controversial music video) came on. I soon realized it was by the band that I was skeptical about.
From that point on, I listened to their EP album on repeat. These four Aussies bring a fresh vibe to the pop music world as well as their covers on classics such as “What I Like About You” by The Romantics and “Teenage Dirtbag” by Wheatus. They’re basically the Australian version of One Direction, but short of one guy. Their official album releases on July 22nd so mark your calendars! I can’t wait to listen to the rest of their songs. Directioners, pop fans, this band was made for you.

The Fault in Our Stars
I think it’s safe to say that TFIOS has dominated the movie theaters and bookstores. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but judging from the trailer, I can tell that it’s unforgettable. The movie and book reviews were killing me. I knew I had to read it at some point.
I finally got the book last week and I was beyond ecstatic. I’m currently on Chapter 11 and it’s exactly how I expected it to be. For those that don’t like to read, you should read this book because there’s something that we can all learn from. The reason why this book is on my favorite list is because Green was able to take a not so light topic and incorporate humor and lightheartedness into it. It’s also an easy read which makes it even better. TFIOS may be based on cancer, but it’s not like your typical depressing, somber book based on life and death. This book simply celebrates life and the aspects in it.
I hope my favorites will become your favorites!
