AUGUST FAVORITES 2015

These are a few of my favorite things...

Mystery Show

Podcasts are no longer for classroom learning. This podcast features one unusual conundrum for each podcast. It makes you think, "Wait what?". "Why hasn't this been solved?" As a lover of mysteries, I liked it right away. The logo may look a bit different from your normal podcast, but most of the stories are light hearted and worth listening to.

The host, Starlee Kine, is super easy to relate to; it's nice listening to someone that has that "girl next door" persona. Mystery Show can be found on iTunes.

Papermate Flair Pens

Is it a marker? Is it a pen? It's a flair pen! I've wanted to get these pens for a REALLY long time. I never knew why I didn't, but just before school started, I took the leap and bought these pens.

They truly have vivid colors and crisp lines as mentioned on the package. It makes taking notes more engaging and fun to study from. They may be on the pricey side, however, they are simple to write with and a great way to add a pop of color to your notebook or wherever you jot notes down.

Pekoe Sip House

As I was rushing to class, I walked by this tea and boba shop and made a mental note to come back the next day. The next day, I came back and couldn't help but gaze at the numerous delicious sounding drinks they had. I had the White Strawberry Boba which had a light floral essence and a subtle sweetness. I can definitely see myself studying there in their cozy yet modern shop in the future.

Colorfy

This app is great for those that love coloring books. I may not be four anymore (ha that rhymed), but it takes me back to those good ol' days. It's similar to those intricate adult coloring books found at Urban Outfitters. Options range from floral to exotic pages. I like to color in these designs whenever I'm sitting on the bus or just looking for something fun to do.

Catch the Drops

You can usually find me playing this game in the midst of the grocery store. At first, it was difficult to get into the game because it was fast paced. But after constant efforts, I got into the rhythm and beat...literally. As you catch each candy colored drop, it rings a note. If you're looking for a new game to play, go ahead and download Catch the Drops.

I hope my favorites will become your favorites!
